Cooking and Baking Guild

Do you enjoy cookery? What main dish do you enjoy cooking the most?

Me, I enjoy making pasta dishes, like Spaghetti bolognese, or sausage pasta bake, or ham pasta bake. I like making other things too, but they're probably my favourite dishes.

Do you like baking, and what do you like to bake most?

I love baking; I prefer it to cooking really. I make a triple chocolate cake, I found the recipe in the Jane Austen Cook Book I got for Mother. I love baking it. I found a Honey Bun recipe in there as well, which I like making.

I love cooking. Hmm, I'm quite partial to chicken dishes.

I love baking too! ^_^ One of my favorite recipes to bake is homemade cinnamon rolls.

I really enjoy baking and cooking. It's fun to make something you can share with others... that is, if you don't eat most of it yourself. (I'm rather partial to cookie dough. It tastes so good! )

How about candies? I've heard that it's somewhat of a delicate process...does anyone here make boiled sweets of some kind? (the whole boiling cornsyrup and other ingredients until it reaches a certain consistency )

I love cinnamon rolls, but I must confess I have never baked them myself.

Hehe, I'm not too bad with that, although it is rather hard if you're making chocolate butter-cream and icing; I love tasting those.

We have tried in the past, but never succeeded. I once went to a village where they made all kinds of sweets, and it was really interesting watching them make them.

I've never successfully made hard candy, but I have made both caramels and gummy candy.
