Who is doing NanoWrimo?

Any of you guys doing NanoWrimo this November? Have you got all your plot mapped out, and ready to go?

I am planning to 'pretend' I'm doing it, as I'm in a WIP and I don't want to break off it.

*raises hand* Me! And no, my plot isn't really mapped out yet.

Hm, probably not me this year. I did it last year but it was quite stressful with school and everything. My poor guitar got neglected a whole month. I might sign up for the YWP and just chose a low WC so that I can take my time, though. Who knows! I'm a pantser in nearly all aspects of life so I'll likely not chose until the last day of October!

How is your planning coming along, Idril?

Yes, that's a really neat idea, Jessie! Have you worked out your story plot?

I panicked slightly when I realized we have 14 days left.
I still have to come up with a book title and do research.

How are you guys doing?

*Chuckles* Well, it will be fun to be the evil rebel for once.

I may/may not be doing nano this year. I have much research to do before my next book is ready.

Well, you'll still be working hard on your book!

True, but with Retaliation I want to have it be a lot better than Penalty. Better characters, plot, subplots, etc.

well, it's probably best to spend the extra nano time focusing on your book plot and characters then.

I say we have a NaNoWriMo party on here on the 27th. All in favor?

Yep. I'm working on two novels. One is a sci fi, another is going to be a complete re-write of my NaNo novel last year, which was a School Story Mystery/Suspense.

Can I still come, even if I'm not technically doing Nano this year?

We have a party on HWFF as well, on the 21st of this month, I think it is. Anyone can go to that, whether you're doing it or not.

I want to go to that, but I think my schedule won't let me then. I'll still really, really, really try.

I'm doing NaNo this year too. It'll be my fourth year - whoa, I feel old now.

I decided that I shall do it this year!

I guess I either need to learn how to plan and start planning or just be a pantser as always.

@Cammie - Planning is pretty easy! I prefer to write up a little about the main characters (name, looks, build, personality, any powers, etc.). I also start a very loose plot (that will be changed/added to a lot during the month of October ).
